Not ESPN stuff like a big "slam dunk". The way to avoid going 4 for 12 or 3 for 16 or whatever is to have to shoot 3 sets of ten and make 6, then 7, and the 8 out of those stets of ten. Oh and by the way, if you miss out on that number in any set you start over. That will keep your concentration and fundamentals going.Also heps to do it outside in the cold, wind, whatever and have to make those or you cannot come into the house and eat either lunch or dinner. Trust me, I know. And even today at 104 years old and without shooting a bb in many years I know I can still come damn close to doing that now.
